Passifora edulis is one of the best choices if you wish to produce your own fruit. Happily grown in pots and placed in cold greenhouse,conservatory or tunnel for the wet winter months. Can be grown outside if extremely sheltered as they may suffer in the winter wet.

P.edulis is one of the very few self pollinating Passion flowers and can produce an abundance of sweet purple fruit during summer and autumn.

Flowers are white and purple with distinctive frilly filaments
