Chaenomeles x superba ‘Knap Hill Scarlet’
A deciduous small spreading shrub which produces a mass of scarlet red flowers during March, April and early May. This is followed later by apple shaped yellow fruits. Can be trained to have a more upright growing habit but can also be grown as a hedging plant. Produces spines.
