Passiflora caerulea
Passion flower
Description
The most recognised and wildly grown passiflora in cultivation. It has very distinctive blue and white (slightly scented) flowers which can bloom from spring until late autumn. Orange fruits will usually be produced and although edible they are not the most flavoursome of the passion fruits.
Can be pot grown or planted in a sunny, sheltered well drained position.
This fast growing vine will keep much of its foliage if not too exposed.
