Clianthus pun.'Flamingo' (Lobster claw) (Parrot's Beak)

An exotic evergreen shrub, which needs to be grown in a sheltered and sunny location. Best grown against a wall or fence, which will give it extra protection. This unusual plant produces clusters of striking crimson flowers from spring to early summer.

Requires a very well-drained soil. Can tolerate a very light frost, but can be easily pot grown and moved undercover for the winter. Also can be grown as a conservatory plant.
